SUPER HAPPY DANCE!!!!

I just called LSU's football department and asked for the equipment manager. The Tiger Gift Shop said they may be able to help me. I told him I bought this helmet and was trying t figure out if it was from 2007 Sugar Bowl or 2008 National Championship game. He told me ALL helmets that were for sell yesterday were last season's helmets!!!

That means I have a helmet from the NC!!!!!

Guess you're going to have to find some estate sale finds to pay for that helmet.

It wasn't too bad, $300. They had about 30 helmets on a rack. I was looking over them and noticed this one was alittle different, with some kind of red sticker on the back. The rack was behind a counter, you couldn't handle them. I couldn't make out the sticker and asked to see it. My mouth dropped open when I saw the "BCS Series" sticker. My first thought was it was from the NC game last year, but then I remembered they had the "BCS NC" sticker on it.

I will have to move a couple pieces to pay for it.
