That's cool we posted the same line at the same time.
Yeah---I think Eddie is great.
No one's perfect---and always picks great movies---or surrounds
himself with the right advisors---but the guy is just a comic powerhouse
as far as pure comic talent goes.
(The homemade fast food burger is a classic bit! My mom
actually used to do that too---make bulgy burgers from ground beef
and serve 'em on soggy white bread! I totally related to that!)Leave a comment:

Your dad's an alcah-HAW-lick...you dropped your ICE Cream you dropped your ICE CREAM!
I remember, I was 10 or 11, a primitive incarnation of the cable "remote", on a long rubbery wire, with a dial for fine tuning, and two tiers of channels. Totally UNDIGITAL.
My buddy stayed over night at my house, and we "fine tuned" HBO enough to get just the audio, with shimmers every once and a while of that leather outfit, and laughed ourselves senseless at "Raw". Holy crap.
Eddie's "Best of Saturday Night Live" alone is so jam-packed with comic genius, he could make Norbit 67 and I'd never diss him.Leave a comment:

Never a big fan of MYERS or SANDLER, yet I loved SANDLER in his supporting roles
in some movies---and AUSTIN POWERS was a real shining star---and I totally
tolerated WAYNE'S WORLD
Even though FERELL has done some poor stuff---I don't blame his talent---
I think he's incredibly gifted. I stand behind his worth overall. Can't say the same
about MYERS or SANDLER.
EDDIE MURPHY?
I hated----absolutely HATED PLUTO NASH and NORBIT---
but---never NEVER doubt that this guy is one of the greatest comics
of ALL-TIME hands down.
The problem with Eddie is that even though he's IMMENSELY talented--
he has the comedy threshold of an eight year old ---and that can
mess with his head when picking projects. It's amazing really.Leave a comment:

In my opinion Myers and Ferrell are dangerously close to their funny expiration dates.Leave a comment:
