Routh is perfect he looks like Superman. Just cut his hair more for Superman..... and bulk up more that's it...... There's is no one i know that could play the part.

I liked Routh and Bosworth, but all along I would have preferred Welling. Problem is, the story goes that Welling doesn't EVER want to wear the Superman suit, even on Smallville. Not sure if any of that's true, because Welling doesn't speak to the press much, but the rumor is he has a clause in his Smallville contract that he'll never have to wear the Superman suit.

If they were to recast, go with an unknown. It always works best.

Now that Battlestar Galactica is coming to an end, I think Jamie Bamber would be a good candidate to wear the cape. He already has the boy scout role down when playing Lee "Apollo" Adama.

I didn't mind Routh actually....what I disliked was Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane...the kid....and the rehash of plot from "Superman:The Movie".

I hated that Margot Kidder. She looked like a transvestite. Never looked right!

Out of all the gals who played Lois Lane. I could never figure out why the women looked and sounded like a man dressed as woman.
