THe dude in the bottom left is Mike O'Hearn. He's a bodybuilder and has graced every muscle magazine in existence. He's now on American Gladiators.

Brandon Routh was good for this one film if nothing more than as a tribute to Chris Reeve. Superman has the ability to lift people's hopes and inspire. Routh, though looking the part, couldn't inspire a decent bowel movement.

Definitely cast an unknown. Any other actor attached to the role brings their resume along with them and that could be distracting and cause a toy board to have eight pages of posts debating the issue...

I like the suit it was a smart design and the S was fantastic every film Superman had their own version. The colors worked fine for me.

All I ask is make the Next movie exciting I want to see Superman actually fight a real foe an all out brawl.......Have all the executives forgotten that He is the Most Powerful Superhero? Come on put that on screen!!!.......

Agreed on Routh especially with a new director.

Gotta disagree on the suit though. The only redeeming thing about it was the cape. The textured blue...I can live with that. The 3D S symbol - I almost like but it's way too tiny. The tight collar - WRONG. The boots - UGH but the burgundy has GOT to go. It's just wrong.

Yeah, I also like Routh...he's a perfect homage to Chris Reeve...and I was also thinking on that haircut...give it a sharper look to it...and yes...a few more barbells at the gym will do wonders for him. The new burgundy color on the suit doesn't not bother me...I kinda like it.

Routh is perfect he looks like Superman. Just cut his hair more for Superman..... and bulk up more that's it...... There's is no one i know that could play the part.
