One thing I didn't like about Routh ......

He had no personality .....

Yes he kind of looked like a young Chris Reeve .....

Yes his voice even sounded like Reeve ........

But he acted like a stiff ........ No personality what-so-ever.

Even though we're all sick of seeing Lex Luthor, to me --- Spacey was the only character in SR that I liked.
He was like Gene Hackman mixed with Joe Pesci on Goodfelllas

It's definitely going to happen but I think Warner isn't sure what direction to take. Singer isn't 100% anymore, they may reboot.


Singer promises a "Wrath of Khan" style sequel but most of us wonder why he started with "Star Trek the Motion Picture"?

Routh and Singer will return for Man of Steel, the working title of the next Superman movie. I read this a few weeks ago, and I'm sure I can find a link if no one else does so.

They'll make another one, but I'm not on the edge of my seat waiting for the next Brandon Routh Superman performance. I just don't care, he did nothing for the role.

Superman Returns didn't kill the franchise. I am pretty sure they have a new one in the making or at least an idea from what I read.
Ten bucks says there will be something new.

With all the Superhero movies going around ... I wonder if another Superman movie might be in the works--- or on the drawing board ......

I heard it's very possible Superman Returns killed the francise for at least 10 years.
While I kind of agree, I hope it's not true.

Unlike most movies that seem to age with grace and even gain a following they never had on release, Superman Returns seems to be doing the opposite ......
It seems people are sitting back ... and thinking about how lousy it really was.
Even people who liked it when it was new.
Perhaps after the smoke cleared, they seen it for what it was.
