Just as a defense thing here.. my wife prefers the In and Out burger. My daughter likes the Shake Shack. Whataburger and close second choice 5 Guys get my vote. -
…and while In N Out fries suck, the Animal Style version should at least be dripped with some soft nacho cheese type sauce and not those melted cheese slices that turn into shoe leather after it cools down, lol.Leave a comment:

Yes.
I see some Mickey Ds with about a dozen cars deep in my neck of the woods (not all the time of course, as there are so many of them). Imagine just one in the entire city. People like to hate on McDonalds, but it’s by far the number one burger chain franchise in the world for a reason. 36,000 around the world in fact. And it’s not even the so-called cheap prices either. Heck, an In N Out Double Double meal is cheaper than a McDonalds Double Quarter Pounder meal in fact.
I usually get my burger at In N Out, then drive to McDonalds for their much tastier fries and their $1 Diet Coke…

I don't know if Double Dogs is a national chain, or just a regional thing around here, but they have excellent, fresh beef burgers. The Bo Burger (named after one of the owner's dogs) is mouth-wateringly delicious.Leave a comment:

I don’t know if Martin’s is just a southern thing, but it’s big around here. They’re only open until 2:00pm, so I think that contributes to how long the lines are.
Their specialties are their breakfast biscuits (Steak biscuit, sausage biscuit, bacon and biscuit, etc…) and BLTs for lunch.
Chic Fil A wins the day for cleanliness, customer service, and overall high quality service, but on pure taste, I think Martin’s is better.
Anyway, typically the lines are so long that they stretch around the store, out the parking lot, and into the streets. If you’re driving down a busy highway and see a dozen cars all lined up in the turning lane and beyond with their blinkers on, it’s not a funeral procession, it’s just the line for Martin’s. It’s really insane.
But I highly recommend giving them a try if you get the chance. They won’t win any beauty points, but they got it where it counts.Leave a comment:

LOL. Come get in line at a Martin's in Georgia. 19 cars is a slow day.If you're lucky enough to have them in your State, then the long line should come as no surprise. Counted 19 cars this afternoon, but this is pretty much the norm regardless of day or time.

Is it worth it? Hell yes. Fresh, simple menu with a secret menu: I order my Double-Double Animal Style. Animal Style burgers include pickles, extra spread, grilled onions and mustard fried onto each meat patty. And if I'm feeling extra crazed, I'll order the fries the same way (adds cheese, In-N-Out's secret spread, and grilled onions right on top).

But if you really want to see some action, try going through the drive thru in a Chic Fil A. 20 to 30 cars deep with a two-lane drive thru.

In-N-Out Burger? not the best name for a franchise burger joint if you know what I mean. Anyways I don’t think we have those around these parts, besides McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy’s for fast food places, there’s a Five Guy’s within walking distance and there’s a Dennys somewhere too.
I really do not frequent any of those places, but if I had to choose it would be Five Guys a better quality burger.
Hey JB, what’s Question #27? I couldn’t make it out to good. California has a lot of questions come election time, No Surfing in a non surfing zone?Leave a comment:

If there was only one McDonald's/Wendy's/Carl's Jr./Jack in the Box/Burger King in your hometown, would there be a 20th car in line?

We have a Wayback Burger franchise nearby. I really like them, I think they have 5 Guys beat in price and quality. A new Culvers has opened recently, but I've yet to try it.
A local drive-in has a steakburger on a pumpernickel bun and it's fantastic.Leave a comment:

Smashburger and 5 Guys are great burgers as well with no arguments here. Jack in the box, McDonald's and Burger King are kind of last resort for me.Leave a comment:
