Buttermilk works perfectly if you wish (not) to be mind controlled by King Tut, after getting a pill dropped in your cup of freshly squeezed lemonade by a simple minded and hypnotized police commissioner. Please don’t forget, if you think your next cup of freshly squeezed lemonade will be drugged, it’s 6 glasses of fresh buttermilk about 30-40 minutes prior to the ingestion of the contaminated liquids.Leave a comment:

My Uk friend had beetroot soup here in Poland, went to the toilet and thought his kidneys had packed in, because he was seeing red
Buttermilk is actually made/left after the production of butter, its just a side product, its really like drinking a natural yogurt, its great for a hangover
Then U have curdled milk here as well, it doesnt smell or anything, once again, give it a shake , and your drinking a VERY slight tangy taste natural yogurt, fresh out the fridge.
All this stuff is seriously good for U..Leave a comment:

Mikey, its actually quite easy to make, U can basically buy the sour soup mix in a bottle, some are better than others, but from there U just add the sausage etc, actually quite simple. Do U have a polish shop in your parts? Yeah Krakus is great even just their beetroot soup in a carton is good, I normally on the cheat, just get some tortellini, stick a few in a cup, crush some garlic, pepper, fill it up with the beetroot , and whack it in the microwave

What do you think of Zurek soup/broth ?Just for starters its really good for U etc, Plenty of it here in Poland, plain/ flavoured as well, strawberry etc, more of a summer thing, simple dish to have it with, boiled new born potatoes, with fried bacon bits, with a fried egg on top, seasoning/dill and a glass of this stuff on the side. This is a must try also for the summer, Polands version of a cold soup with buttermilk:

Never had it before and a girl at the local Polish deli recommended it.
She was cute so I thought --- what the heck
Gave it a try … first taste was eewww, this stuff has gone bad
After a bit I STRANGELY started to like it
Krakus makes a great broth that's readily available in the USA

I do like more pungent things like blue cheese (but not Limburger!) as I age, and I would be willing to taste buttermilk. But I can't imagine downing a glass of it.Leave a comment:

I've never tried butter milk in my life, though I've been tempted to buy a small container of it just to see if it's as gross as I'd expect it to be.Leave a comment:
