I've had Netflix for as long as I can remember the streaming service being available, and I still watch it regularly. It's one of the only things that I pay for entertainment-wise that I feel gives me more than my money's worth. It's also my only source for 4k content at the moment. I do think that they are going a bit overboard with the original stand-up specials lately. I'm a fan of stand-up comedy, but it seems like they release one a week these days, and about 90% of the ones I've watched are pretty bad.

Watched The Polka King last week and enjoyed it a lot. I actually lived in Hazelton during that time, and Jan Lewan was all over the place, every church festival, every event he was playing. He was super popular around the area, there was a huge Polish population in that area of Pennsylvania. Never went in the store, but it was there in a little strip mall. I remember the whole scandal with his wife and all.

Actually the first episode is not a good one to start with and is not really representative of the show. Give another episode a shot, the rest are better (and much less bizarre and offensive, if that was the problem for you) than the first one.

Mind you, I think the Canadian version gets more British content than Netflix USA. They don't seem to focus on classics much, but I believe that's possibly because a lot of classic TV still has a market in syndication on cable networks.
Yeah, me too, I think Netflix is totally worth the money. My daughter would kill me if I cancelled it, tons of kids stuff on there. And yeah, the Canadian version has a lot of Brit stuff which is cool, and in Canada they also get Disney stuff after Blu-ray but before pay cable so all the Star Wars and Marvel movies show up on there pretty quickly.

Do you guys have "Black Mirror"? That show is fantastic. It's like the Twilight Zone, you can watch in any order. Start with Season 4 Episode 1 (Mikey - you'll love it!).
Oh, Black Mirror is fantastic, I love that show! I think Netflix is the producer of the newer seasons (or as the Brits call them, "series") so I'm guessing they should be available in all regions including the US Netflix.

And they still get plenty of new and old movies. Hell, I just watched Sunset Boulevard the other day.

I pay for Netflix, Shudder, Prime and Hulu, and on top of that we have cable. I sit and watch movies all day long while I'm working. Even then I still don't have access to every movie I want to watch (without having to pay a rental fee). The only one I consider dropping is Hulu cuz I don't need it for TV shows, and nearly every movie they offer is also on Prime. But every once in awhile they have something I can't get anywhere else so I keep it.
