Just a reminder it's Vinegar Syndrome Black Friday.

On a side note, the idea of High Def porn doesn't appeal to me. I prefer a nice VHS haze.

Do you have a strong desire to see from whence came Larami's legendary Martian Chronicles Figures?

You're in luck! Kino Lorber have announced The Martian Chronicles for Blu-Ray release early 2018.

Cool, I'll have to add them to my 2018 list. Something I've read about them makes me think they're probably scarier or more offensive than they actually are, so I've sort of stayed away.

I dig it, my first introduction to the man was meeting him so it's probably formed a cognitive bias. His movies are unlike anything I've seen but also kind of familiar too.

I love subtitled movies but they're not good for when i work on sites. Recently I bought the Coffin Joe and Paul Naschy sets for when i'm writing and well, they're not good background noise as i find myself paying too much attention.

I'm going through Criterion's Guillermo Del Toro trilogy set, and it is wonderful. I highly recommend it if you don't mind subtitles.

^ Great news, I love Criterion releases. I'm still regretting I missed their The Third Man.

The restored 4K version of Night of the Living Dead will be on Blu Ray February 13, 2018 from Criterion.

This is the one to get. The picture quality will be astonishing, and the extra features look great. I'm particularly interested in the never before seen dailies reel, and the Night of Anubis workprint.

Yor is a pretty enjoyable movie... a fun mix of barbarian action and sci-fi.

That's interesting that Wynorski recorded a new commentary for the Return of Swamp Thing Blu-ray, rather than them just re-using the one he did for the DVD.

Upon reading further, on Amazon UK, a reviewer says there are no special features, so I'd wait for a North American release. Thanks for the heads up, Brian!

    Finally Yor on DVD!
Fun story-I saw Yor in the theater when it came out in 1983. I begged my dad to take me to see it. I of course as a 9 year old thought it would be the next Star Wars or the next big thing. So my dad caved in and took me to see it. The second the movie was over my dad immediately says "that was a dumb movie!" I liked it but was kind of dumb founded by its wackiness at times.
To this day I still tease my dad about him taking me to see it..and when it comes out on blue ray I will make him watch it with me again..lol
