    Exactly...

Agree with you 100%. The second week was god awful, not one single laugh, not one single one.

In order for the Gong Show to remain a must watch for me, is that the judges have to be funny, not necessarily the acts, that's the key. The first week, all three judges were funny. Second week, zero funny.

The second episode aired this week, and I enjoyed it. I can see myself watching it regularly. Before it was the new Battle of the Network Stars, which I thought was awful. There was some eye candy (for both genders to enjoy) and some nostalgia, but the events themselves were hard to watch. If I want to see a fat old guy running, I can just look in the mirror while I'm on the treadmill.

I kinda remember reading somewhere the original Gong Show was totally a fix --- in the same way as professional wrestling.

Is this new version like that too ?

I'm into America's Got Talent...The bad auditions are the best part, lol...

It won it's time slot, so success so far...

It was a hit and miss with me. The bad acts should be fun, that's the point of the show, some were lame, lazy, pointless, boring, unfunny. Having said that, the funny acts, good or bad, were really funny. The Banana couple had me in stitches...it was both gross and hilarious, lol. The celebrity judges were actually the best part...they kept me entertained.

The really odd part for me is why in the heck is there a need for Mike Myers to be heavily disguised and donning a character? No need for that, it's just weird and not that funny, just strange. Mike Myers should be himself, that would rule.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10...not a bad start at all...I'll keep watching, have the show set on my DVR.

I'm hearing there bringing back a lot of the old school game shows, but I'm not expecting to much, just today's
comedians attempting to be funny and stupid at the same time.
