I'll agree that it's not good for the league when there is a sweep in the finals. It's not even good when it's a longer series, in the playoffs, and each game is a blowout. My opinion is that the playoffs have been pretty dreadful this season. Some injuries have changed the outcomes of series (i.e. Celtics vs Bulls), which led to a subsequent lopsided series.

Warriors vs Cavs

Cavs made 24 three pointers because the Warriors were sleeping on defense and Love and Irving had the magic hot hands
from 3 point range, Cavs scored 72 points off 3 point shots. No, that's not scripted that's just a certain player or two on a team that's having a particular hot night at the 3 point line and part of the reason is he's not being guarded properly.Leave a comment:

Talk about cynical. Not everything is a conspiracy. I'm not a fan of either team, but what I do know is that both teams are very good. For Cleveland to win one game in Cleveland is not far fetched.
During the Warriors first game versus the Spurs, at Oracle, they were being blown out. Then Leonard was injured and that gave the Warriors an opportunity to come back and win the game, which they did. The point is I don't believe that the Spurs, as they're currently constructed, are a better team than the Cavs, but they were able to get the upper hand on the Warriors until their best player went out to injury.

The link that Hector gave, explains if the Wartiors swept, it would have cost the team 22 million dollars, so does this mean the Warriors purposely eased off to save the franchise 22 million dollars?
What it tells me is, this is more of a business than a sport which is fine, because sports, especially professional sports is infact a business, and to me personally, when I witness one team blowing out another, then 2 days later it's the other teams turn to the same, it just makes me question whether this is all scripted for money-ratings and the fans enjoyment.Leave a comment:

Yeah, both ways, very inconsistent and contradictory. The fiasco were the refs tossed out Green due to supposedly having two technicals, then bringing him back because it turned out he only had one...Kerr the other...what a blunder, embarrassing in fact.Leave a comment:

Cavs played lights out...they kicked the Warriors arzes. LeBron was on (as always, no surprise), Love was one, Jr Smith was one...even Tristan contributed with his hustle...but it was Kyrie who played outta his mind...he was hitting these impossible shots all night long...he was pretty much unstoppable...spectacular in fact.
Having said that, the refs were awful...Last edited by Hector; Jun 10, '17, 4:43 AM.Leave a comment:

86-68 at the half, I guess the Warriors don't want to play defense tonight, I swear it's all scripted, a power house team like Golden State doesn't give up 86 points to anyone in a half.Leave a comment:

Warriors scored a solid 68 points at halftime. That's more than enough to leave most teams behind...but Cavs scored a record 86, holy shlat, lol...Leave a comment:
