My uncle fought in the battle of Okinawa

He would never talk about it...

I think he seen a lot of bad things

Whew Glad THAT'S over.

It ended the war in Europe but Japan did not surrender.

Unfortunately, we had to drop two atomic bombs on them to end the war.
