That's cool. I got to sit directly behind Bob Gale during a Back to the Future showing in St. Louis when the Symphony was playing it. He was sitting with his father and I got to speak with him after the show.

Davy Jones of the Monkees owned a small farm about 10 miles from my town. Saw him at the mall a couple times before he passed away.
When I was a kid Jack Palance used to live near my grandparents. I saw him a few times too, once at the grocery store. He scared the heck out of me!

In high school future NHL players Ed Patterson (Penguins), Turner Stevenson (Canadiens) and Corey Schwab (drafted by the Devils) all lived at my Aunts house, directly across the street from my grandparents where I basically grew up.

They played for the Seattle Thunderbirds at the time and families received free season tickets for sponsoring the Canadian players.

We all went to HS together for a year.

In the 70s/80s while I was growing up in the small town of Estacada, Oregon, word had it that Lindsay Wagner (the Bionic Woman) owned the house a couple fields across from me on the edge of the valley overlooking the river. It made sense, as all the houses along there were big gated properties owned by rich people. I haven't been able to confirm that story 100%, but I do know she was a local and had gone to school in Portland, Oregon.

Speaking of Portland, there are all kinds of celebrities living here now...I don't even bother keeping track these days.

I used to go stay in a cabin during the winter that my then-girlfriend's parents owned in Wyoming, and Harrison Ford lived just down the road. They would bump into him sometimes at the post office, but unfortunately I never saw him.

Abe Vigoda lived in my neighborhood until earlier this year, if that counts. I'm probably forgetting someone who is still alive.

^^^ Neat! Hey you can say you live in a town that gave us one of our cinematic Batman and Robin actors. That's cool!

True. Years ago, my parents ran into George's parents (Nick, who was of course a local newscaster and later ran for congress) in Augusta while out on a picnic chatted with them. This was around the time George was playing Batman.

In other Batman 90s related news, Chris O'Donnel's grandparents once owned our local movie theater, and he visited the town as a kid.

UFC fighter TJ Grant and NHL star Sidney Crosby both live a few minutes from my home. TJ is a great guy.

Former heavyweight champ Trever Berbick near me me as well back around the time he beat Ali. He was a real whack job in real life. I remember him walking down the streets of Halifax wearing the title belt over his clothes.

Walking Dead creators Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore are from my hometown, and live near here. It think Moore actually lives in town again.

Actor Gary Sandy (WKRP) is also from here, and his family still lives here. I've seen him in town before.
