No update so far, the seller is a MAJOR player in the museum. Again I do not want to rock the boat, I simply want the figure I paid for or my money back. I really really do not want to out the seller as u am sure we can make it right -
For many years, the old adage was "let the buyer beware." However, is this day and age, my how things have changed! As a seller, you have to be as cautious, if not more so. There are unscrupulous people -- I do not care what the forum or website is. Also, yes, whether it is $5 or $5,000, it is always the principle that matters. No one likes to get swindled -- for any amount. Even though I have only done business with one member on this forum (and both transactions were through Ebay), and both transactions were very smooth, I have been burned before by others (not on this site though). However, in all but one case, I was able to retrieve my money/merchandise. You just have to be very vigilant these days.............Leave a comment:

If he has time to accept someone's money, he needs to make time to keep communicating.
Unless he's really ill, but you don't have a crystal ball to know that...Leave a comment:

Things like these happening in here are very unfortunate, I feel your pain.I would like some advice from member of the mego museum. A while back I bought a figure in here, after a month I was told the figure came back to the shipper in the mail. I was told he would re mail the item. It's been a month since that happened and still no figure. I can't get any response now on what may have happened. I would let this go normally as it is under 30 dollars, but the seller is VERY well known in the museum. I don't want to cause trouble but at the very least I should just be told the truth whatever that may be.
Last month on the other forums I've sold a lot of vintage RC parts to a member from Australia. He paid for the lot through PayPal, no problem -he was only expecting me to let him know the shipping costs to cover. I thought about saving me a visit to the Post office and sent the stuff right away because it was cheaper than I told him it would be (It was $12, I said it would be about $17). Well, he did not reply to my message afterwards. I thought it was just a mistake, you know there's so much stuff to go through week after week, but last week I sent him a kind message letting him know I was not mad, but I needed to pay some stuff to some other member of that forums. He replied saying he'd send money. And still nothing.
I hope you guys understand this has more to do with decency than money. It doesn't matter if it's ten bucks or $200. Lack of integrity doesn't help the interactions in the forums whether it's for buying or selling, or simply trading figures, books or parts.
Anyway, I hope you get your money back or what you paid for. Good luck with that!

Given that time frame, you should have received your figure by now. How many PMs have you sent, if I may ask?
And yes, maybe post "has anyone heard from X lately, he's not responding to PMs..."Leave a comment:

Is it a Canadian seller? I am wondering if customs may be to blame here.Leave a comment:
