I stick to estate sales and private appointments...
Yea I hear great stuff about estate sales...but here it's on weekends and I take care of the kids

Over the past 20 years I've never found anything vintage at my local thrift stores but then again I'm not a regular there.

Not very many vintage items hit the local thrift stores but they are usually overpriced when they are found. One of the them had nude Charlie's Angels dolls for $50 each last summer. Their hair were a mess and their arms and legs looked chewed up.

Haven't seen nothing in like a year or two for a good deal I been seeing a lot of naked he man figures but there wanting like 10 bucks for them or a ton for anything that looks vintage it looks like since the shows and all that came on all vintage toys are slowly going away every year

Not to mention the meters they had on the machine that were still good. It just boggles the mind that these people don't THINK! before they do something. I'd love to work for the place...but they have a policy that the people that work there can not buy things from the shop. I guess there would be a conflict of interest because I would probably buy all the good stuff before it hit the shelves. But I would also be making them money on the stuff they throw out. They also literally dump thousands of hardcovers/paperback a month. Damn shame.
Bro same here.. They offered to pay me decent money to price their toys, and antiques but I wouldn't be allowed to buy anything unless it had been on the shelves for more then 2 weeks. I truly realized how stupid these people were when they destroyed around 400 LP's because they had no shelf space to put them..you'd think they throw away the old ones that had been there for weeks and then I ask them if legos ever come in boxes since I buy them in bags of 7lbs.. they told me they throw them away
