1. Outside of alcohol and tobacco, I've never taken any sort of recreational drug.
2. I'm a blood cousin of Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal (3rd cousins). I've never met either one of them, but my aunt is good friends with their parents.
3. I earned spending money in college and graduate school by working as a bouncer in a campus bar from ages 19-24. Occasionally, I'd have to toss out football players, including a future 2-time Super Bowl champion.
4. When I finished graduate school, my high school roommate recruited me to join him and several of our classmates in starting our own advertising agency. I turned him down since I wasn't interested in moving back to Philly. 10+ years later, the 12 founders sold the company for roughly 85 million. I'm still not over my decision.
5. My name is very similar to a former MLB all-star pitcher. I've been contacted several times by news agencies asking for my opinion on baseball events. The baseball hall of fame sent me a a copy of the ballot when that pitcher was eligible for induction. Occasionally, I'll get baseball cards in the mail and am asked to sign them.

I flooded five floors of a Days Inn by flushing the toilet... What's better, my boss (whom I was working with out of town at the time) was two floors directly below me.

I was IN the science class with MIB41 wherein the teacher looked at him with the question: "Mr. King, what is one of the properties of water?"

Rallygirl, I've often wondered about past lives too...my entire life I have had an extremely vivid recurring dream about drowning. It is so real that I feel I have actually experienced it, and I am terrified of water because of it.

I have held or tried a cigarette or any kind of drugs, nor have I ever been tempted.
I call my mom once a day no matter what I have going on.
I've been skinny my whole life. Right now I'm at my heaviest at 161lbs.

1. I don't drink pop, coffee, tea, beer, or wine. I only drink water, and very occasionally milk or real fruit juice.
2. I have VERY vivid memories of things that happened before I turned two. From age three to five, I have more than average memories. In contrast, I have absolutely no memories of my 1st through 3rd grade years. None!
3. Although my religious beliefs should exclude the idea, I have very vivid "memories" and dreams that make me wonder about the possibility of past lives.
4. I HATE things that most people find relaxing - massages, music, yoga, meditation.
5. Although I grew up, and still do live, in a very small, quiet midwest town, three people I know have committed murder.
6. No matter how many lessons I take, I still cannot swim. I sink like a rock.

I'd say that most of those are not a great loss, you can do without them, but traveling is a wonderful thing. Seeing the world is magical.
As a Science Fiction fan, I just have the need to explore.
If you do book a flight, don't pick Oceanic 815...
