But isn't K. Dragon venom slow acting, and aren't crocs much faster than monitors? Just wondering.

And T'bolt is right about swans--beautiful, but very aggressive. A duck is not a match-up.

Scorpion vs. tarantula - yeah I'm a borderline arachnaphobe when they get that big, so I wouldn't watch this fight.

Dragon has venom, croc doesn't.

I may have to disagree. They both hunt the same way, a short burst of speed to bring down the target, then hold it until it dies. Even 20 lions might have a problem with the thick reptile hide.

How about swan vs duck?

you must have never been up close with a Swan. They are afraid of nothing. I had to catch them once to put them up during the hurricanes and the thing was pushing me off the ground. And I'm talking great blue heron, too. Swan had him by the neck and almost had him pushed under water.

Okay, let's get the ball rolling. This thread will be about animal matchups. It can be anything that breathes, whether existing, existed, or fantastical...it doesn't matter...as long as it's organism vs organism.

I have always found this topic fun...and it sometimes can get heated (from personal experienced on other sites)...but this subject can be non ending...for there are practically millions of combinations.

Well...here we go...

One T-Rex vs a pride of African lions.

Would the king of the dinosaurs (just one) be able to tackle a full pride of lions, let's say 20 strong (and vice versa)?
