Not only it absolutely fantastic, but it also has some special vintage looks to it. That's truly a work of art!Leave a comment:

^Thanks! It's acrylics, and the background will be painted in, along with his chest/shoulders.Leave a comment:

Whow, very nice sir. I would've loved to see the background painted honestly, but it looks amazing nonetheless. What medium is this? I'm assuming oil with how well blended it is. It really is so very crisp and clean.Leave a comment:

The only thing that could improve this painting, is if it were hanging on my wall.
I love it!Leave a comment:

I think it looks terrific
The only thing that's a tad distracting is the shine to the top right on the dome.
It's a tad too white (if you're going to leave the background as it is)
At first glance the dome looks unfinished there.Leave a comment:

That's kind of where I'm at Andy. I agree it looks nice as is, but I think it's almost too clean and perfect for ANH.Leave a comment:

I say add the nicks and scratches. To me, it looks like a hybrid of ESB and ANH. But I am incredibly, ridiculously biased. It's truly lovely. It has a great vintage vibe to it. Put a blue starfield behind it, and you've got "Darth Vadar Lives!"Leave a comment:

It would still be 99% clean...all I'd be adding are some corner nicks to the angles and the famous "C" scar on the right cheek. Maybe I can do a photoshop mockup to see how it looks.Leave a comment:

Purists may balk at this, but you've done such a fine job with the symmetry and the design work is handled so cleanly, it'd be criminal to muck it up. Say it's Vader right off the Frankenstein slab in Revenge of the Sith.

I should mention I still have to add his shoulders and some background color...can't just have a floating head!Leave a comment:
