Our tankless hot water heater gave out yesterday after only 6 yrs (Rinnai brand). We're going back to a tank. The bright side is it happened yesterday and not X-mas eve or day. Our plumber is coming over today to replace it.

Other than that, it's been a pretty great year.

You have a Christmas curse! I had a birthday curse for years. I think it's finally dissipated, but the trick has been to not acknowledge my birthday at all.

Yesterday my wife's car takes a crap, this morning the sump pump went, and now I'm coming down with the flu.

This time last year was the water heater and a dislocated shoulder. I'm pretty sure Christmas hates me for some reason.
