I ate a few Yumbos in the late 70s. I did some growing up in Perth, Australia, where Burger King is called Hungry Jack's for pre-existing trademark reasons. They sold Yumbos until around 1980 IIRC.

Okay if you want a warm ham and cheese roll, but it doesn't really give you your burger fix.

Looks like something Burger King would offer, since their food isn't even good anyways.

    ^ I understand.

I've never been much of a fast food person, but I did like places like Burger King, Wendy's and McDonalds when I was a little boy. We probably went to one of them or a similar franchise once a month. I don't really like them, at all, now. I've given them a chance on occasion and they generally disappoint.

Dairy Queen is a different story. For decades, we frequented them for soft serve ice cream, etc, back in Indiana. I still love Dairy Queen, or, at least, the idea of it.

I had one a couple days ago and it resulted in a Yumbo size trip to the bathroom.

The new commercial is funny - set in 1974. I remember those uniforms.

After reading further, I've learned that Burger Kind hasn't offered the Yumbo since 1974. I was born in 1974. And, most of you were probably very young at that time, so you may not remember it because of that. Or, maybe it wasn't a popular sandwich. Who knows.

I thought it was just me, I never heard of them until the recent "Bringing it Back" by Burger King. Looks awful.

Crap, Mikey! I forgot about White Castle. I'll amend my comment and say, we only ate at A&W, Burger Chef and White Castle in Detroit as a kid. I'm embarrassed to call myself a Damn Yankee, right about now!
