The way I understand it some of these gals wanted bring suits against Coz at the time but were told by their lawyers to forget it because he's too big and powerful.

This festered for a long time ..........

I'm guessing today it's a strength in numbers philosophy.

I need more info before I decide, and these gals are providing it.

I'm a big believer in the philosophy your innocent until proven guilty. Our society seems to place the burden of guilt on the people accused instead of the folks pointing the finger. And the more heinous the allegation, the more people want to believe it's true. And we wonder why the National Inquirer stays in business? I think there's a unhealthy appetite by some to look for dirt just to watch people squirm under the pressure and then judge them by that reaction.

Personally I see no crime here with Cosby. Out of the blue a select few step up and make the same allegations against this man and we're suppose to believe them? Where have they been for the past 30 years? There's not anyone who is going to make me believe Cosby was a serial fondler/rapist who somehow kept it under wraps AND got over it by his own efforts without anyone knowing. I'm sorry but that kind of behavior is a mental illness that doesn't fix itself over time. If he had people from 30 years ago, then there would be someone from ten years ago, five years ago, and most likely in the past year. How convenient all of these people come out of the woodwork all at once and...ooops! All of them are past the prosecution stage. Rats! What were the chances of that? Sounds like an extortion attempt. Nothing more, nothing less. And for these studios to drop his programming is a disgrace. If I was Cosby, I would sue those people for making false allegations.

I think its a case of where there's smoke there's fire with these stories. If it keeps popping up there might be some basis for them.

not recent issues, these stories have been chasing Cosby around for years.

The "recent issue" is that they're rearing their head again due to a correlation a woman made between yet another incident and a related Cosby "Spanish Fly" comedy standup bit that came out the same year that the woman reported the incident happened. Am I confused to why this is making such big news other than the usual "Look over here" conspiracy theories? Yes. Buuuut... it's still happening.

Then I hate whoever for whatever reason they aren't on. Luckily I have them on DVD. Hopefully others do not come forward to accuse him of that.

What a relief! I won't even have a chance of landing on it by mistake now. If he did what' s alleged, he's a perv.
I watched Cosby in the 80's like everyone else, but I have no desire to see them again . I only recall one or 2 movies I enjoyed with him in it, but not classics by any means, IMO. I still hate the fact he bought the little rascals to keep them off the air. C'mon man!

Even though i'm not a huge fan of Cosby I do respect his squeaky clean humor.

He's basically today's Red Skelton.

You know when you watch him you won't be embarrassed to watch with your parents or kids.

I hope for his fan's sake it's not true.

To me it seems like if you have millions of dollars and you have a taste for an 18 year old gal you just whisper to one of your entourage to find you a clean wh_re

If they use that airtime to showcase something like UFO or the Avengers episodes I agree 100% with TvLand's hard line stance.

It seems possible that sponsors would rather pay for spots on shows without this much heat on them - sometimes it's just a matter of dollars and sense.
