What's a good speaker/recharger for a Classic iPod?

What do you guys recommend? Portablilty would be a good feature. I was thinking of a iHome iP46 Portable 30-Pin iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock or a Sharp DKAP8P i-Elegance Music System. There's at least 1 cheap one on eBay right now. Something smaller than 8 inches in length would be good too. I was thinking of a non-luetooth unit to take into a booth when I take tolls on the bridge here in NY.
