Coke or Pepsi?

Coke, I love the burn. Especially Coke when I went to Africa. Still in glass bottles and tasted much better. -
I prefer Diet Coke. I like Coke Zero also.
But not only is it a beverage, it's also a toilet bowl cleaner! It's true. If you have stains in your bowl, pour some coke in and let it sit. Do this for a couple of days and those stains will scrub right off with ease. I've tried every imaginable toilet bowl cleaner there is to remove those stains and nothing worked. Then tried the coke helpful hint and presto...no more stains!

It's actually not only the sugar syrup that is so bad but the Pepcides and Carbonic Acids as well. Apparently Carbonic Acids are created by dissolving Carbon Dioxide gas in water. It is said that if they both can clean a dirty windshield, the motor of your car or grease off your driveway, just think what it is doing to your teeth!
I googled Coke and damaging teeth and look what one of the hits was:
Coca-Cola - Brands - Well-being - Your Health & Our Beverages
Reads like a cigarette company disclaimer LOL
I found this one much more interesting:
WikiAnswers - What is the effect of Coke on teeth
Sounds like Pepsi isn't much better
And who knew that Gatorade would be so bad?:
Gatorade Destroys Your Teeth Faster than Coke
I think I will go have a glass of milk now

A can of Coke has 39 grams of sugar, while a can of Pepsi has 41 grams.
That equals about seven teaspoons or 13 lumps of sugar per can!
There's not much between them.Leave a comment:

I like Coke products but that is just because that's what I grew up drinking. I also like Coke Zero since I drink diet products.
Apparently, most people find Pepsi to be sweeter and years ago, when they had the Pepsi challenge, Pepsi would win most of the time because it was sweeter. What the researchers found out later is that most people prefer the taste of coke for an entire drink because it is a little less sweet and for a 12 oz. can Pepsi is just too much for a lot of people.Leave a comment:

Pepsi all the way for me.
I find it interesting how some people actually pick Pespi or Coke saying that one has better taste or flavor. I liked Pepsi when I was kid and still do as I think Pepsi has more flavor and Coke has always tasted watered down or flat. Even today when I am in a place that only has Coke, like Pizza Hut or Popeyes I will drink Coke but later I am so happy when I can have Pepsi and have flavor again.
Because so many feel one tastes better than the other, it is further proof that it is simply a fact that everyones taste buds all differ. So to answer the question - does one taste better over the other? No, probably not. It is more of just a personal taste in the end.
Coke used to be bad for your teeth too, especially on the enamel on your teeth. I don't know if that is still true or not, but an old girlfriend of mine lost a few teeth thanks to drinking coke. And yes she brushed her teeth.Leave a comment:

I like both, but I tend to gravitate more towards Coke these days. And I only drink the Caffeine Free versions of both. I loved RC but they don't have caffeine free, so no RC for me
I am really amazed at how sodas from different countries taste so completely different from one another. Last time I was in Belgium I noticed that the Sprite had a very different taste than here in the U.S.Leave a comment:

The US uses cornsurp instead of sugar.
The biggest thing to effect the taste of any soda is if its on tap at the restaurant. The water used to make the soda can over power the soda. If I'm in Boston the chlorine taste is horrid, out in the burbs it’s a lot better.Leave a comment:
