Over the summer I've been on a quest to find the perfect hot dog, trying every store bought and deli variety I could find. Some had natural casings that were too tough to bite...many had odd aftertastes, were too salty, or too greasy, or too rubbery.
I tried Ball Park, Bar "S", Boar's Head, Gwaltney, Hebrew National, Hormel, Nathan's, Oscar Mayer, and about a dozen more deli and store brands.
I found I like Kahn's beef ones the best. Perfect combination of taste and texture, not to salty, greasy or gristly. Just a perfect "classic" hot dog.
McGlinchies a dive bar in Philly. Has the best hot dogs I've tasted. All for the price of 75 cents.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
Sabrett Natural Casing All Beef... boiled in beer.
I usually cook theirs in a deep fat fryer. Then top 'em with their onion sauce. Love that stuff. I could probably eat that stuff straight out of the jar.
