Not the biggest fan of fountain sodas, nothing but watered down sodas. But I do drink it at the movie theater and fast food joints, no choice, lol.

You hit it on the Pepsi, too sweet, and you are right about Coke, it's heavily carbonated, it is harsh, you get that real good kick in your mouth, that's why I love Coke, lol.

I do like Dr Pepper, I do have it once in a while, but I don't like it with food, just as a stand alone drink.

Coke rules with rum, and my favorite soda with tequila is Squirt, Mexicans go crazy over Squirt, lol.

It looks way better at your house, it's a beauty, and what a steal, well done.

Got it home today and spent a couple hours cleaning the barn dirt out of it. I think it needs a good refrigerant charge. Plus I think I may have nicked a wire. It's developed a short somewhere.

Not perfect, but I still dig it.

I like Mr. Pibb, though I've not had any in a number of years. The last time that I checked, it was only available as a fountain drink.

I don't drink soda anymore but the sight of these things unlocks happy memories for me. Its a terrific acore and one I would have grabbed without much thought. I also was a fan of the good Doctor and his friend MR. Pibb.

If I took a blind taste test, I couldn't tell the difference between Dr Pepper and Mr Pibb.

That's probably because I'm not a regular consumer of either of those two sodas...they both have that same "perfumy" taste to me. Not to say they are bad, just not a frequent drinker of them.

But I could easily tell from Coke and Pepsi, that's because I'm a Coke diehard, its taste is second nature to me.

BTW, my everyday soda drink is Coke Cherry Zero.

I am far from a Dr. Pepper aficionado. IMHO, It is bottom rung as far as beverage choices go. But Pibb has no credentialls. Pepper is a Doctor.

www.allstarservices.com i will say the ones we usually get rid of are probably not as old as the Dr Pepper one shown.

Congrats, that's a great price. I'm not a Dr Pepper fan at all, but I wouldn't mind getting a vintage Coke machine someday.
