I'm loving the machine. Once you get the electronics and mechanism working properly, I'm pretty sure if you dismantle the panels you can get the small rust spots off of it with some dremel or such, and you can get it painted again. If you know someone who's into painting cars, then you can restore it to look like new. What a -literally- sweet project. I'm excited! Haha. -
Amazing how the little things are the ones that make the biggest impressions, lol.Well, whatever you want to look at that, it is sad. But, what the heck, I understand the reasons for things like these happening.
And you know something, Hector, even the memory of that can not erase the happy moment I had with that stupid can of Dr.Pepper today, haha.

I tried to visit back in 2008. Unstable incomes, not being married, and not having property, all of a sudden made me a "potential immigrant". That's what I got from the officer when my VISA renewal was rejected at the US embassy here in Santiago. It was shocking for me to hear, and I remember thinking to myself, well, funny there's millions of people wanting to leave their countries for the States, but it never crossed my mind to move to the States. I only wanted to visit Atlanta and Nashville a couple of weeks, and that's all.Leave a comment:

Awesome! I was sure it was a good purchase by any means. Plus, I have to share with you guys one super happy moment I had today. I'm a big Dr.Pepper fan, but I haven't had the chance to have some since 1999. Now that I can't go to the States anymore, I thought I'd never had another chance to have some...
Anyway, last weekend I was with my girlfriend at the Grocery store and found out they are importing it from the States. Not cheap, but wow, I had a can of it today and felt like in heaven, haha. I'm telling you guys you better be thankful for what you have around today.
Come to think it's been almost 15 years since I last enjoyed that unmistakable taste. Awesome!

That looks great! And glad to hear you didn't think twice about the $100.
This thread actually got me started looking also. Found a Coke one on CL for $250...the guy said it works perfect he's just tired of it. Now trying to convince my wife.

What a great piece. I'm definitely a Pepper and would love to have something like this in my garage one day. Also considering a Coke one, along with some Fanta buttons. Some day. Some day.Leave a comment:
