Same here, as a kid I always skipped over the instrumentals

One thing .... as an adult if the song Help begins without the secret agent theme it just don't sound right.

Beatles 65 was a great cover better than any early UK album cover

Agree! Beatles for Sale had a horrible cover....looks like they were Half a sleep.....lol

This is tough, because I also grew up with US versions, and really liked "our" version of Rubber Soul, and still have a hard time with the UK version.

I liked it as a kid but, when i found out that they took out songs and added a song from the Help album, i was puzzled by it...I understood Capitol wanted a more folk sounding album......the also wanted to milk the Beatle teet with Yesterday and Today....

I never like the UK version "With the Beatles" except for "All My loving" i thought it was a B-side collection of songs......lol

Oh yes,

It did appear on Anthology 3 though ... Both UK and US Hard Days covers appeared

I knew it wasn't A Hard days night cause it was a United artist release and the cover was Red instead of the UK blue version.....
