Haven't found any yet but really haven't been searching too hard.
Thankfully, Shane sent me an extra so I do have one...

FYI, I checked on it, the BM is in the new Target 2-packs at the check out lanes.Leave a comment:

The best place to look for them are at the check out lines of Walmart. Thats where they stock the short card HW's. The BM is also out in the new 10 packs at Wally and Target, but $10 is high if all you are after is the BM. I believe the BM is also hitting the Target 2-packs at the check out lanes, but not 100% sure.
I saw a couple today at the WM check out lane, passed on them. I have seen a bunch in the 10 packs. I bought a total of six BM's, kept one, customized two (if you haven't heard
) and gave the others away. I have probably passed on 20 of them.
Like I have said before, hold you horses, they are gonna be peg warmers soon. They still have only been out for about 3 - 4 months.
SOWTH, that variant treasure hunt you found is called a Super Hunt (if the S in treasure and hunts are a $ or has nice rims, not just mainline rims). The regular hunt this year is one per case. The Super Hunts are about one per 4 or 5 cases, Nice Find!Leave a comment:

Try grocery stores. I found mine at Publix. I haven't paid attention to see if Kroger's has these or not.Leave a comment:

I've yet to see one in the stores here in AL but my Dad has found a few. I will have 5 to sell at megomeet as well as 4 HWs on the red cards and 4 HWs from the St. Patricks Day cards.Leave a comment:

I have found 4 at retail one on the short card. I did trade some blue carded hot wheels I had from the early 90's for few Batmobiles over at hotwheelscollectors.com, you'll find some guys over there are cool and are willing to help ... but most are hoarders. I haven't found any for over a month now, and from what one collector has said they are showing up less ... But that can change with the next new wave.
Oh you gotta open one or at least get another to open, fun stuff
here's a shot of my niece playing with the one I got her

Try your local flea markets. That's where the hoarders around here go/besides ebay. They may be $2 per car but it beats shipping charges!Leave a comment:

I had heard that these weren't making it to Australia, but I was in Target on the weekend with the family, took my son over to the toy section and there were two batmobiles and two "Mega-Thrust" treasure hunts (one plain and one shiny chrome variaton) sitting on the front row of the pegs.
Bought them all fully intending to open one of the batmobiles and put one away, but it is so nice I'm struggling with ripping it! Crazy! It is a beautifully done car though considering the scale.
The Treasure hunts will be nice fodder for my table at the next collector's fair. Muhahaha! Scalper! Scalper! Burn him! :-)

I found 4 right on the pegs at my local WalMart the day before Easter, and bought them all for myself, a couple of buddies and my dad. I thought about flipping them on eBay for a quick buck since my hobby funds are pretty low, but the idea sort of turned my stomach.
The people who got them loved 'em. They're not Hot Wheels collectors, but they do like Batman or neat 1960s cars. 88 cents worth of fun & grins. That's what they're really worth!Leave a comment:

I still haven't seen one at retail. The hoarders are still out for this one apparently.
