We lived in the sticks. I attended K, 1st, and 2nd in a two room school two miles from home. 3rd, 4th, 5th was in a three room school across the street from home. But apparently, we didn't live far enough out in the sticks, so between 4th and 5th, we moved even further out into the sticks and I had to change schools to a town school.
1) Public
2) K-2nd, I rode the bus or (gasp) rode my bike two miles. 3rd and 4th, I walked across the street. And in 5th, I had an hour bus ride.
3) K-2nd, I brought lunch from home. 3rd and 4th, I walked home for lunch.
