and people didn't fear Lewis? he's not a freak? LT was great, but they're both as toss up...I still take Lewis, he's the most fear LB in the last 10+ years...a complete beast and game changerYou take Lewis. Taylor was one of the greatest players ever he was a game changer a freek of nature he revolutionized the game. he literally changed it single handidly.. the most dominant player of his time with two Rings to back it up......he literally took the ball away from the 49ers in the NFC championship game....he was FEARED by the offense you say LT alone and people know who your talking about.....Leave a comment:

A healthy RGIII and the skins win that game by two TDs. Once he reinjured the knee all we had to do was shut down Morris - we basically blitzed and tee'd off on RGIII mid-second quarter on. They had no passing game. Our DB's have not seen a combo like Julio Jones and Roddy White all year. I'm not convinced we can shut both of them down - plus add in Harry Douglas and Tony Gonzalez....We've played two All-Pro QBs this year - Rogers and Brady - and both torched our secondary. I don't see Matty Ice being rattled at home that he can't put points on the board.
As much as I hate to say it......

The Falcons are going to have their hands full next week. Might be another out in the first game year for them.Leave a comment:

If Griffin keeps playing like he does and continues to have a coach that could give a crap about his health, here's his new logo...

Shame on the doctor (and coaches) who let Griffin play, now he really got hurt.
Could've been Griffin's pride and stubbornness as well.Leave a comment:

Without bringing up off-field stuff into the equation, the best three linebackers I ever saw were LT, Ray Lewis and Derick Thomas. Can't really say much about any others or those who played before I watched the NFL. Lewis was a monster on the field and a motivational beast off field. He will be missed.Leave a comment:

Lewis was one of the greatest LB's ever if not the best, some say LT but in their prime give me Lewis all day, It was a pleasure watching him in Miami and in the NFL, looks like Reed may be next...Both will be in the HOFLeave a comment:

The Colts game held my interest to about 8 mins. left in the 4th. Indy had no defense on either side of the ball and the Colts couldn't punch it in all game.Leave a comment:

Yeah the Green Bay game became kind of a love-fest for Packers fans sometime during the 3rd quarter. I kind of said that was gonna happen but I thought the Vikings would put up some points up and you know, showup for a play-off game. And then Ponder can't go (not that he was all that great anyway) but Webb and his magic trick act wasn't going to fool anyone last night.
I really don't like Baltimore (something about the 2000 season comes to mind) and I would think all the pressure is on them to win this game. I look at Flacco in the same light as Tony Romo. They're "Yeah, but.." quarterbacks. In some ways, Indy isn't even supposed to be here yet but Luck has been so good this year and the way the coaches handled the team has been first class. They're playing with house money today. Also how awesome would a Broncos/Colts play-off game be or a Washington/Indianapolis Super Bowl. It'll be an interesting test for the Colts too. I think the Ravens have enough to pull off the win but I really don't trust Flacco in a game like this so I'm hoping Indianapolis pulls out the win.
Washington.Seattle seems to favor Seattle but RG3 has a chance to really do something special today and enhance his legacy. In the year of the rookie quarterback, I would think when today is all said and done if either Luck or RG3 advance and the other line doesn't that'll be what gets talked about when which one had the better year. As long as RG3 doesn't run himself into an injury I think Washington can keep the magic alive and advance.Leave a comment:

I just hope that the games this afternoon are competitive. Neither of last nights games inspired much excitement. That Packers vs. Vikings game was a real dog.
However, as far as the Colts vs Ravens game goes, if the Colts run away with it (which is very unlikely), you won't hear me complain.

Mad respect for Ray Lewis. One of the best of all time. I will miss him, but not playing against him.Leave a comment:
