Couldn't find a thread for this, so I had to start one.
Gerry Anderson, the man who gave us the classic TV shows SUPERCAR / FIREBALL XL5 / STINGRAY / THUNDERBIRDS / CAPTAIN SCARLET / UFO / SPACE 1999 and many more, passed away yesterday @ the age of 83.
I'm not sure how many people have been inspired by Gerry and his great team of creators, but it must be countless.
R.I.P. Gerry Anderson, and thank you for so many childhood memories.
EDIT: oops .. I see someone started a thread in TV/SciFi.
Could one of the mods delete this thread
