Of all the cool things I once had, sadly all I have these days is one lonely Empire pumpkin, which my wife hates for some reason. He hangs with me in the basement each year.
It may not be really really vintage , but its the oldest Halloween item I have. Got it about 20 years ago on my first trip to Nogalas. It a paper mache moracca.
I wish I had vintage Halloween decorations. As I've said before, my mom wasn't really big on Halloween. The only things that decorated my house back in the day were art projects I made in school. But last year, when I made a video of my dolls for "Halloween 1974", I included copies of Beistle decorations.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Awesome! I've got two, and Big Daddy keeps them company!
I love the Empire stuff. General Foam Plastics is actually making new versions of a lot of these. Unfortunately, you hardly see any in stores nowadays. I have several Empire blow-molds lit up in my yard, but most are from the 90s on. I'll post some pics later.
Not too many decorations have survived since my childhood - but these have. I know they are over 30 years old. Why the slinky witch has 4 arms and 4 legs I have no idea. We had the green haunted house when I was a kid and I found the orange version about 4 years ago at a flea market for $6. Of course I had to buy it. Why they aren't much compaired with all the horror stuff that's out there these days I love each and every piece.

Okay, here's this year's Halloween decorations. Most of it's vintage (if you consider the 80s vintage). My mom managed a Hallmark store for over 10 years, so a good chunk of our holiday decorations comes from there.
This village setting was made by a local artist who worked in ceramics. My mom bought a lot of items from her and sold them at her store. She made the "Great Pumpkin" looking character in the next pic as well.
I love this old Empire blow-mold ghost. It got something brown on it over the years. The Drac cookie cutter is from Hallmark.
This Beistle Mummy is from 95, so it's not really vintage, but I've always liked it. I have older Beistle stuff, but it's the usual screeching cat, old witch head you saw everywhere.
These Drac and Franky decorations aren't old either, but they feature really good likenesses of Bela and Boris. I think I picked them up at a Paper Factory store about 10 years ago.
This Beistle Werewolf came in a pack with some other creepy heads sometimes in the 90s. This is on my son's window...can you tell?
I just picked up this blow-mold tombstone a month ago. I really like it.
I've had these Empire blow molds since the mid 90s. The picture is pretty blurry. Sorry.
My big pumpkin here was sun-faded badly. He was a very pale orange. I used Krylon Fusion and painted him after this pic. He's orange again! He's from the early 90s, I believe.
Not vintage at all, but I really love my 12" tall Frankenstein monster. My kids get a kick out of him rising each night. "HE'S ALIVE!!!" my 4-year old daughter yells!!!
