What you need to do is get two scoops of chocolate ice cream, one banana (frozen works best, and strawberries works too), some vanilla extract, a bit of sugar/honey/agave nectar, and a bit of crushed ice...and blend all that in a Vitamix (or any good strong blender)...pour in tall glass...and sprinkle some powder cinnamon on top...you'll never go back to plain chocolate milk ever again...lol.
Weren't you on a diet, Hector?
Or are you just speaking hypothetically...
Belgian chocolate, though still great, is not as good as it used to be.
A new international law forced us to use more sugar in it, to "even the odds" "to help the sugar industry", "stop unfair competition" and all that ****.
So basically, we had to make it worse so the other guys wouldn't complain anymore.
My question remains: who do I have to drown in a barrel of chocolate milke to get this law revoked?
If you folks REALLY want to try a great chocolate beverage, I highly recommend you try the Dark Chocolate Almond Milk put out by Silk. Believe me, once you've tried it, you'll quickly become addicted to it! As an added bonus, since it's not an actual "dairy" product, those folks who might be lactose intolerant can enjoy it without fear of gassy regrets!!!!
I like Yoo-Hoo but I try to keep this stuff in the house because it is the best chocolate syrup for making Chocolate Egg-Creams/Chcolate Sodas. It also makes good chocolate milk:
Here in the Chicagoland area, there's a dairy named Oberweis. I've never been a real big fan of chocolate milk, but I'd drink that any day of the week and twice on Sundays. My wife and I used to have it delivered to our house once a week back in the day, but it never lasted more than 2 days. We gave it up entirely before we drank ourselves into a diabetic coma.
Chocolate milk never tastes like chocolate to me. I love chocolate milkshakes - with real chocolate ice cream - not regular grocery store brand ice cream - or at least premium brand ones (in a pinch I'll use Häagen-Dazs). I figure if I'm going to splurge on a treat why go half way and just get the fat and calories without the awesomeness?
At home for a quick treat I'll have some Ovaltine - I like the flavor of the malt.

I grew up on skim milk and to this day still have it with my cereal. I don't like chocolate milk because it is too thick. Even 2% milk is intolerable after drinking skim for years. And whole milk,....ack, I almost expect to pour a hoof out of the jug.

I live in Ohio and where I live at we have Dairymen's. It's one of the better chocolate milks out there. I know our daughter has it in her school. I also think why most chocolate milks aren't that good tasting anymore, is that they are using 1% milk instead of 2% or whole milk like they use to. Dairymen's still uses 2% milk.
There was an off-brand I used to buy from a little independent dairy that tasted like chocolate ice cream. It was incredible...not too sweet and lots of cocoa. Then last year Deans bought up most of those small dairies and switched to their new TruMoo brand. 1% milk with less than 1% cocoa.
Ovaltine is still really good...wish they had pre-made milk in the stores.
