We watch it every night with our boys. They love it. That's good enough for me.

Telemundo is showing the Olympics too (heavy on the Latin countries, but they show lots of USA as well, it's all in Spanish of course)...NBC owns it...

I couldn't even watch the Olympics if I wanted to... It's been almost US only and completely ridiculous. They should run the NFL on an 8 hour delay and see how people respond.

    Then ...
The South Korea fencer Shin A-lam was in floods of tears at the ExCeL arena on Monday night after arguably the biggest controversy of the Olympics so far

Biggest Olympic story and not even a US peep on it...
Btw, the time keeper that made the error was a 16 year old volunteer. Like, really? You can't find ANYONE with time keeping experience that won't fall asleep while texting their mates for the Mother-Father OLYMPICS? Then you think it's a better idea to stand by your decision than to admit that you drove a bus full of nuns of a cliff in sports terms?? Those Lint-Lickers! SMH.

EDIT - just thought, maybe if the coverage wasn't so asinine, people would find it less boring?? the events are not really supposed to pull the Jersey Shore meets Hannah Montana crowds, but that's kinda been the packaging.

Phelps means absolutely nothing to me.

Mexico is my parents' country...part of my own culture (the other part is American of course).

You can get bored all you what (and you don't have to post on that thread), you are not mexicano, bro...but it's cool...I still love tortas cubanas and cafe con leche, so I love you no matter what, man, lol.

I appreciate the athletes talents and skills but honestly I find it a bore to watch. However if dwarf throwing were an event (great idea Mikey!) I might be more apt to set the DVR.
Peter Dinklage, much like CM Punk, would not be impressed.

No...I take that back...if not...it will make me a hypocrite.

I'm sick and tired of Michael Phelps...after the Olympics...I hope to God, Allah, Buddha, Zeus, Odin, Chacmól, etc...that I don't EVER have to see or hear from him EVER again...

I enjoy them for the most part (depending on events). Even if I didn't, I think I could handle two weeks every four years.

I like em, but I'm tired of gymnastics, and I was starting to tire of swimming. Track is OK, but it gets boring pretty fast. I'd like to see more of the sports they don't show during prime time, such as rowing, kayak, equestrian and partying. Seriously - what's with sending home the drunks. Put 'em on TV!

I like the Olympics. I watch sports that I never watch unless it is the Olympics.

Having the time delay kills it a bit, especially since you have to avoid all media and internet for Spoliers.

BTW - it is almost over!

Now see, that I do like! I have a bunch of eps on tape, but personally, I think it was fixed that the Yogi Yahooeys would win most of the time. I always rooted for the Scooby Doobies.

And it's mostly Me-TV these days anyway, so nothing is pre-empted for me.
