    HBO is something like:

    Uncle Buck
    Turner and Hooch
    Flashdance
    Tio Buck
    THE WIRE
    Uncle Buck
    The Notebook
    Resident Evil: Whatever
    Avatar
    BOARDWALK EMPIRE
It's worth it for Uncle Buck, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire and Uncle Buck.

i was excited when they first showed The Gong Show movie since it is one of those lost films not on video and also it is legendarily bad. It is bad but at least you get to see J.P. Morgen topless.

Tonight the HBO channels are showing The Gong Show Movie from 1980 and Howard the Duck. Don't think I'll miss HBO once the preview is over.

    That stinks.

In HD, space is pretty limited on my DVR too but you are able to hook in an expansion drive to increase space which is what I have done.

But when I was recording SD, it was much more roomier without any help.

Must be your cable system Mike- we have the free HBO & Cinemax and it's let me DVR them so far. We have Service Electric.
Sadly, with 12 free 'premium' chanels for the weekend 24/7, there were only 5 movies I felt I wanted to watch. I can't say I'd buy the service, I've already seen Back to the Future.

I remember back in the day when we used to get HBO I watched a weird movie ... I think it might have been made for HBO ... It was a "what if" movie set in the 60's and Joe Kennedy was president ... It had something to do with covering up nazi atrocities in WW2 ... Was that a real movie, or did I dream that ?

I want to see a Deathmatch: Al vs the Language Filter. I know who would win...

I love that too. There was even a little making of for that intro which I saw back in the day and I think is also on youtube.

HBO sucks for movies but their original programming rocks. True Blood, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire. all great shows
