Spolstra left the corpse formerly known as Mike Miller on the bench. Great game by the Heat tonight. Not over yet but it looks like a W.

I am spoiled since I got to see Jordan and Pippen play together for so many seasons. I just don't see anything remotely close to that dynamic with James and Wade. Maybe they both just have too much of a scorers mentality to properly compliment each others game?

Game 2 is going to be huge.

I might actually like the Heat if a few things transpire, but one of the things that NEEDS to happen is trading Wade for a true point guard. James and Wade are too similar in playing style and they rarely get in synch. Imagine having a playmaker like Rondo or Nash in this lineup. Then get a few big bodies that don't look and play like a velociraptor and you've got a championship team. I remain skeptical that James and Wade can win rings together, though it can still happen this year.

The big difference I can see so far is OKC plays for eachother and the Heat play to shut up the critics.

How about Nick Collison for the Thunder?

Ten rebounds and eight points...he had two huge offensive rebounds and two nice dunks...nice to see supporting cast help out...I like him better than Perkins...Collison is smaller...but has quicker feet and is a solid defender.

I have said this before, and maybe it's just me, but James and Wade just don't seem like the best fit with each other.
Yea if they can't win it, I hate to say it cause I really love Wade, but if it's one that has to go, it's gotta be him

I agree Wade has looked unenthusiastic to say the least. I was ****ed at him last night, but he turned the team over to LeBron and James has to score more than 6 point in the 4th quarter. Wade and LeBron are a lot alike in there play(which was said earlier in this thread). It's up to the coach to get it to work. And Mike Miller needs to go now.

bro the game was within 3 in the 4th when Wade started throwing up stupid 3's that we both know he can't make...It's not his game, take it in or do don't shoot it

Being born and raised in Seattle I have the hardest time rooting for the XXXXXXX and their arrogant, punk fans - see below. That being said, I can't stand anyone on the Heat so while I'd be ****ed if the XXXXXXX won because it should be here, I'd smile just a little knowing James, Wade, and Bosh won't be getting not 5...not 6...not 7 championships any time soon.

But when he started going off counting how many titles they would win, that put the big ole bulls eye of failure on his back. I know other than being a Celtic fan, that is why i want the Heat to fail. And who the heck is their coach anyway? I never heard of him before he got the head coaching job. I do think if the Celtics send them home he will be gone.
This sums up my feelings exactly. I am a Celtics fan so I was rooting for them because they're my team. Now, (with apologies to Miami fans) I hope the Thunder pull it off.
