In that case he should go to the Jaguars.

that's the only reason a Florida team would consider him

D, sorry your Phins keep getting the shaft but it appears that they should have fired Ireland in 2010 after his stupid question to Dez Bryant. I was telling my wife about this and we later saw the guys on the NFL channel discussing this as to why players don't want to come to Miami. They really need to fire Ireland now if they hope to move forward. I feel bad for the fans since they are the ones paying the price.

For those who may not follow the NFL quite as closely as I do this is what I am referring to.

    Jeff Ireland: Dez Bryant
    yea I hate that guy

I figured the Florida teams would get mentioned as a landing spot. But if Philbin is bringing in the Packers style offense there is no way he will want Tebow. That is the last offense you want this guy trying to run. You need to be quick and accurate as many of the routes are timing based. Of course watching Tebow try and play in a west coast offense could be pretty funny!

Tebow is worth a third round pick if for nothing else but jersey sales. He doesn't even have to play snd there will be extra revenue.

I hate Elway more than any pro athlete in the history of sports, maybe even more than that, but he made the right call to send Tim on an exodus. No GM would have passed that opportunity up. I wish Tebow all the best, but future success will not likely come in the NFL.

Right now,I think the best thing for Tebow is to play for an Arena League team. Then wait a couple years and try again.

They are doing a total, old school rebuild. I find it interesting too that they have just gutted the team so deeply.

It's very easy to say, "What could have been" when he doesn't have to live up to it anymore. But Tebow is a perfect example of how a celebrated quarterback at the college level does not necessarily translate well to the pros. That is why I think the Colts are truly holding their balls right now over letting Manning go. They truly don't know what they have until Luck gets started. It was a gamble I would not have taken. I think when history is written, this move will go down as one of the biggest blunders in NFL history. Manning put Indy on the map. Letting him go took Indy off the map. The minute Manning finds success in Denver, fans will be crying for the owner's head in Indy. And Luck will never get a chance to grow into the position like Rogers was able to in Green Bay. If there's any person I feel sorry for in this upcoming season it is Luck. He's going to get pounded.
If he was in his prime I'd agree, but he has maybe 2 years left in him....I think the Colts did the right thing for the team even though as a manning fan it sucked to see

I think Luck is a stud and will be an elite QB

The Tebow fans in Denver are Rabid...I think they are like this all over the Country. It has become a religious crusade. I dont see him fading away...too many people are super hyped on him....even today a mere day after Peytons signing, TEBOW fanatics are wailing and pulling out their hair screaming Why?...Why?...they sound like Nancy Carrigan after her clubbing by Tanya Harding. Let him go people. These people are obviously Tebow fans and not Bronco fans. We traded a 47% passer completion rating for a 77%. What the heck is the problem? Its like that Jimmy Fallon Commercial...."its more money...who doesn't want more money? whould you like more money? Tebow fans respond ""NO"". Ugghh!

Tebow is a good athlete, but has below average quarterbacking skills for the pros. If he's smart, he'll make a bid to play a different position that will highlight his other abilities. He should ride the wave of notoriety and do that while the opportunity exists. Because once the new season starts, interest in Tebow will be over and no one will care.
