Mine is a lightly toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and lox on top. Definitely one of my favorite breakfasts.

I like mine plain..toasted with butter.

There is a place called "Leo's" close to where I work here in the Financial District. They make great bagels.

Tim Hortons has an "Everything Bagel" that I always get. Toasted with butter. It's great.

I've got to look out for that "indulgence"...gotta have some. Sounds delicious.

As for lox...I really don't like that stuff. I think it's the smoky taste...and knowing it's raw.

Just remembered I also love melted swiss cheese on top of a fresh bagel.

I know it's made from salmon but I never had that either
I have just been on the Loxmania website because I have never even heard of Lox before.

I guess I am not gastronomically adventurous enough,...but topping a dry, crusty bagel with raw fish,.... My bagel intake has been limited to two or three in my life, and that was without the prospect of raw fish.

Speaking of cream cheese, Phiily has some out called "Indulgence". These are chocolate flavored cream cheeses. They come in white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate. This morning I had the white chocolate on toast, (wouldn't you know it, I'm outta bagels!), and it was HEAVEN! With a mug of white chocolate hot cocoa, perfect! I also bought the milk chocolate one, but I haven't tried it yet.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese. It's an egg bagel with cheese baked on it w/ bacon bits sprinkled on top.

Fresh bagel (plain or blueberry), slightly toasted, and if I could, peanut butter on top. But we are not allowed peanuts in the house because of a severe peanut allergy...if I could have it...I also love almond cream cheese...but because it's a nut, can't have that in the house either. :(
