    Damien...why don't you get a classic?

Right now an entry level coupe is pretty cheap...they are super easy to work on...and they run forever.

Plus they can't be beat in terms of looks and coolness...most everyone will be complementing you left and right...nobody comments on these newer Mustangs.

Plus it will only appreciate over time...as long as you take care of it...the price can only go up and up.

Just make sure it's not a rust bucket...I think Florida has some good rust free cars due to your nice weather.

Little funds you can make it an easy 500 hp mustang.
really? that's cool bro..I'd be happy with 300-400HP don't need more then that

Hey Da, Best of luck whichever you go with. I would chime in more, but it looks like the Mustang Pro's have all the info that you will need to make a good informed decision.

Have fun at Disney Land (while I continue to rip my man cave apart looking for you know what. ) LOL!!

I agree but will add to negotiate in person as opposed to email. It is easy to say "no" over the internet, but pull out the Benjamins and fan them out...cash money on the spot. Leave a few hundred bucks in your other pocket for wiggle room. Watch any type of auction or pawn show and see how "the bird in the hand" mantra plays out in real life.

Neither car really does anything for me. I would keep looking. They are popular enough cars so it shouldn't be hard to find one.

I had thought about finding a Fox body Mustang with a blown engine but in good shape otherwise and tossing a crate engine in there. Crate motors are pretty reasonable and you know what you have right out of the gate. A nice stroked small block would be my choice.

Damien...the 86 SVO is a pretty cool Stang...little engine...but turbo-charged...pretty quick...and good on gas...and rare enough to be a collectible at an affordable price...this one is pretty sweet...low mileage (57,700 miles)...looks like a Texas car too (meaning, no rust bucket)...seller is considering best offers...

On the mid 80s and early 90s era foxbodies...know that the plainer-looking 5.0 LX notchback coupe is faster than the 5.0 fastback GT...due to its lighter weight...

The car on Craigslist is not bad 302 bored out .30 over, cam ,and all the bolt ons. It has some good stuff in it and looks good. Thats like a good 11.90 12 second car for the track. Really good on the streets power shifting wise. I would offer him $3300 for it he will bite. Just make sure the car hasn't been wrecked and has a clean title. That car if it was here in town would go for an easy $5000 to $6000. The 373 gear ratio if you where running supercharger or turbo that would be good for but will be fine for driving. The 410 gear is not bad either even on the highway. Overall not a bad buy nice if where one color, and if it had the 93 cobra tail lights. I can always sell you my SHELBY
I disagree, no way on earth this car comes close to 400hp or 12 secs with that motor. Big horse power comes from compression. If those are stock heads, and he doesn't mention the heads or pistons, then those simple add ons he did are worth about 25 HP.
