No they they traded the 7th best receiver in the league and then announced they were making Tebow the starter lol. Denver was never considered close to a playoff team this year, with Orton, yet they are tied for first place.

He just donated 3 Million dollars of his personal money, to open a hospital in the Philippians for kids. It a lot more than a catchy name that makes people cheer for him.

I made this post before the game, because I knew he would beat the Jets. I wanna see some of the haters project there teams victory, before the game.

Some people just love to try and tear down anything good in life. What on earth is there to hate about this kid?
Yeah, that's why Tebow isn't regarded as a good QB by former NFL players....because the Broncos have no receivers

I think most people just hate him because of his success with the gators

It's just utterly ridiculous this guy is a starting QB. His team scored 10 points offensively last night and had to complete a 95-yd drive in the last two minutes just to accomplish that. There is no way he will be the starting QB in Denver next year - John Fox is just biding his time....

Not here. I think Vick has been overrated for years. And I said the Eagles would be sorry they signed him to so much money in the off season. The guy is NOT durable and gets hurt easily. The NFL doesn't have a colorful past of QB's that sustained any kind of success when they can't throw. It just isn't done. I get people's excitement for this kid, Tebow. But I GUARANTEE YOU the same people chanting his name today and putting him on posters and bumper stickers will be the very first to say he sucks, when those inevitable losses start piling up. C'mon people. Let's get real. He's the flavor of the month. Just like Cam Newton was when he started out. No one's talking about him today. This boy just has a catchy name and people are idealizing him into something he will CLEARLY never be. The irony to last night's game was Tebow playing against last year's favorite son, Sanchez. Now see how much people hate him? The torch was passed... And it will get passed again.

Orton stared out pretty well with their then new offensive system. But defenses eventually figure offenses out and they ended up missing the playoffs that year. Orton is a good short to medium range passer but is less accurate on the long outs and other harder to throw deep patterns. The defenses figure that out and start to take away the short stuff. As a Bears fan I knew Orton's short comings so I wasn't surprised. He's a nice guy and a solid back up but not an elite talent at QB.

I haven't gotten that vibe. Most of what I've seen only questions his passing, not his rushing skills.

I won't deny that Tebow is a good player, but for some reason I just feel he is better suited for another position other than the QB. Maybe a Tight end. He has the build to block and quickness

If I were Tebow I would be playing the Power Ball Lottery right now. That is just plain dumb luck running amok there. The next three weeks they face the Chargers, Vikings, and Bears. If they beat two of those three teams, then I might start seeing something. Until then, I just shake my head. The 49ers would kill him. The Cowboys would kill him. The Bears will maul him. Essentially any team that has a real shot at the playoffs will pummel this team. This is a complete aberration. I can't give credit to a guy that couldn't drive his team into the red zone all game from the 50 yard line. The Jets were depleted from Sunday Night's game. Sanchez was horrible and the defense was spent. THAT is why the Broncos won. Let's not shower this subpar QB with accolades he hasn't earned. The Broncos had 12 positions for the whole game. TEN of those twelve possessions they averaged 7 YARDS! That kind of performance is not sustainable and Tebow will not be their QB next year.
that's the thing though, he's ran on everyone he's faced with them knowing he was...first people said aww it was the crappy Dolphins and what have you, now he does it to the best D in the NFL and it's luck? naw bro, I disagree there...Running is his bread and butter and he knows exactly when to fool the D and do it

Now I'll admit he's not a traditional throwing QB and never will be...but he sure is winning more then Orton did
