Bill Keane of Family Circus has died

I remember me and my grandfather reading them to me as a kid. Even at his funeral my brother brought up in the eulogy about how me and him would read the family circus together.
I remember getting family circus books from the library as well as book stores and reading them daily.
RIP Bill and thanks for being a part of my childhood.

In an hour or so, I will be across the street from the Sugarbowl Ice Cream shop in Scottsdale, often featured in his strips as he was a local resident. I may have to get a scoop in his honor.
