    What about the Nelson Twins ( I am so kidding)

    Musically and lyrically S&G but for fun and poppy it has to be H&O... What about the Carpenters getting thrown into the mix? Those two siblings were incredible...

    Too bad Tom Wopat and John Schieder didn't do a duo thing instead of the solo attempts (start with a joke, end with a joke, that's good comedy)

    While Tears for Fears are not technically a duo per say...Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith are Tears for Fears...the rest of the band are pretty much just musicians for hire.

    I love Tears for Fears...probably my favorite 80s new wave band.

    im a eighties kid so its Hall and Oates all the way.
    Paul Simon had alsome solo music in the eighties to.
    Respect Simon and Garfunkels contributions to music though...
