One thing I don't miss is only having one air conditioner in the living room and the rest of the house was a sauna on hot days.

Getting up early, rushing outside and having no idea what I was going to do that day. Yet somehow, I managed to never come home before dark.

    My dad.

He was the BBQ king...I miss his beer-marinated carne asadas.

Forgot to add when our ice cream man (Good Humor man as we used to call him) would come by almost daily. Not only did he have good candy but had baseball and movie/t.v. trading cards. Any movie/t.v show that came out 77-83 that had cards he had them. I still have kept many of those to this day as well! Though maybe there not worth that much money their sendimental value for me is priceless as it reminds me of those summers.

My grandparents had a trailer in Lewes, Delaware. I spent most of the summer down there. The quaintest, sleepiest little beach town you can find. Those were golden years for sure.

Playing outside all day long, running around in the woods, riding my bike through the trails we would make, swimming at the local pool, outdoor birthday parties, not wearing any shoes all summer long, playing in the water hose, climbing trees, fishing in the pond at the back of our property, riding on my grandfather's tractor, building tree houses in the woods. So much. I could probably go on and on.
