Todd and Hec-- I'm gonna get that Hotel list together very soon. I've been super busy the past few days, so please bear with me here, folks. And yes Todd, you would be correct, this is Huntington Beach, dude... Super safe and mellow beach town. Even the lower priced hotels on Beach blvd, further up from the sand, would be considered really nice by most standards.

Jquest-- Yes, there is still room. Truth be told, even if it goes over 15, I'll still try to accommodate everyone. Within reason, of course... The studio isn't huge, and it'd be kind of defeating the purpose if I moved to another venue because of the amount of people that want to attend.

I think I'm driving there instead...Hertz has the Toyota Prius Hybrid that gets 48 MPG...and it's only $49 a day unlimited mileage...if I can get a second person...it would be super duper cheap...plus...I would love for someone to drive 50% of the trip...since I have some neuropathy on both my legs...

...and having a car all the time down there would rule...especially since I'm planning to stay a couple of days...would love to go sight-seeing...especially the la Brea Tar Pits...always wanted to go there...I'm all into that stuff...

Live down here in Orange County, I don't think the Long beach Airport is too far from sandy, 15-20 min drive from HB. And your right, it's always nice to have a car for independence! and at $49 a day, it might be cheaper to drive than to fly! especially if your getting the prius!

I'd like to drive down there on Friday (hopefully with someone else)...kick it all day Saturday...the come back either Sunday or Monday.

Also, Hector, just ran Air fair prices for Jet Blue from SF to Long Beach, Friday July 1 - Monday July 5th, Tickets are averaging $69-78 dollars each way! I would jump on those really quick. Long Beach airport is a really mellow Airport, easy to get in and out.
