I am honestly surprised that the companies involved just don't agree to split it and release the dvd. I have always been a believer that something is better than nothing.

You would think that would be the most logical decision...They've already blown the 40th AND 45th anniversary dates to tie-in to. Will it be resolved by the 50th? And if it is, what actors will be left/willing to do DVD commentary or features at that point?


I'm so glad I bought the bootleg 30-disc master set last year....Best $45 ever spent on a DVD set.

I agree ... I hate to admit it but I always liked LIS better than Star Trek

Oh...I hated Star Trek as a kid...I found it extremely boring...Lost in Space was my dream show...could never get enough of it...

Hallmark is making a 1966 Batmobile ornament to honor the 45th anniversary. I have seen pictures of it but don't know if it lights up or plays the Batman theme yet.

To be honest I just cannot totally get into the dark and moody Batman interpretations because this is the show I grew up with and I really have a hard time seeing Batman not be a boyscout type figure as he is in comics and such today.

My six year old has recently disovered this series thanks to Hasbro's "The Hub" network and Nintendo's Lego Batman.

It is a terrible shame that this series can't somehow make it to DVD.
