Yep. While it will be bad enough with snow possibly at 1-3 inches an hour, the winds will be the real issue. That's what may make it a blizzard.
Me too! I had to spend most of Christmas day trying to call in staff (no one likes that!) and now I'm here at work and will be here well into the morning and afternoon. I miss enjoying a snow fall :(Last edited by Wee67; Dec 26, '10, 1:54 PM.Leave a comment:

Don't mention this white crap to me.
I work as a clerk for the Sanitation Dept. and I have to work a stupid sodding 12 hour shift for tonight and tomorrow night, and all because of the wretched snow!
The moeney I get for overtime isn't really worth it, because it all gets eaten up in taxes. Not to mention the fact that I have to take a cab to work, sit in the office for 12 hours with NO entertainment, bored stupid, unable to sleep, with no where to get my dinner from.
And the ironic thing is, I just got off of sick leave! If I had known the snow was going to be this bad, I'd have STAYED SICK!Leave a comment:

I'm all set with food, football and all ready to go. The man cave is guarded by my new Retro Action Heroes and with a week off I couldn't be more excited....Leave a comment:

Well, it looks like we're in for a bad one here on Long Island. They are talking 12 - 18 inches of snow between today and tomorrow afternoon. Should be intensifying within the next 4 or 5 hours. They have a Blizzard warning out for eastern New York and up the east coast into New England area. Batten down the hatches...and don't drive if you don't have to.Tags: None

STAY HOME!!!!!! and be safe
