It's a bad day for snow because a lot of employers require you come in the day before and the day after your Christmas Holiday (usually Friday) to get paid for Christmas.

So some people wont get paid for Christmas if they take off today.

Sux but a lot of employers do that.

There's nothing wrong with liking snow. Problem is in a city like NY they don't like people to call out sick because it's impossible to commute. Employers want you to go in no matter what the weather. They don't let people call out for snow days here. They probably should but they don't.

Up here in Maine, it's just a regular old Snow storm to us...nothing we haven't seen before. I just finished Snow blowing...I've seen worse.

I can not open my front glass door due to snow drifts and just saw on the news that there is a A train that has been stuck for over 6 hours full of passengers and no heat......

I am going to try and get out thru the back and shovel my way to the front, I will post pictures after I make my way to the front.

State of Emergency just declared by acting Gov in NJ

Heard that - snow started falling in my neck of the woods around 10 AM Sunday, and it's been snowing ever since. Everything's buried. It's supposed to stop sometime this morning, then the digging out begins.

I just got home from driving in this mess and you DON'T want to be out there!!!

I have no idea where the hell the plow trucks are, but they ain't on the roads!!!

Stay indoors, Call in Sick if you have too, just DON'T go out in this mess.
