Stallone is as dumb as he looks! Blames decline of action films on Batman.

I have nothing but four letter words for this guy now:

Movie Talk: Sylvester Stallone Blames 'Batman' for Decline of '80s Action Heroes

    Excerpt:

"The action movies changed radically when it became possible to Velcro your muscles on," a clear dig at how the trim Keaton was encased in a sculpted Batsuit for the film. Stallone joked, "I wish I had thought of Velcro muscles myself... "I didn't have to go to the gym for all those years."

Let's not forget the fact that he was busted for doing liposuction to improve that chiseled physique.

Remember what I said about body builders who can't act being forced out of hollywood thanks to special fx? Even then Italian Stallion agrees with me.

He's taking a lot of heat for this one, and rightly so. Busted for steroids, human growth hormone, etc... Lots of bad plastic surgery. Kinda hypocritical. He's 64 and looks great, but there's no need to make a comment like that. I'm guessing he's seeing the end of his career coming soon, and maybe feels that he doesn't need to play the politics anymore, and can basically say what he wants. Knowing him, this doesn't really seem to fit his character, especially given the ride he's had in this industry and the jillions of dollars he's made... I was a little surprised he came out with this, myself.

I'll see him at the premiere of Expendables, I'll ask him what's up and report back.

Yeah, reading the article, I have no idea why someone would get mad at it/him. Isn't it the truth?

The full article is here, btw:

Sculpted muscles are the least of the problems with putting Batman in a rubber S&M suit and having him talk like Cookie Monster...

'Course how much of that is a case of bigorexia exacerbated by being a movie tough guy?

Yeah i gotta agree, it kind of makes sense...think about it.Right before the 89 Batman it was all about Arnold,Stallone,Dolph, and Van Damme action movies, it was cool to go see these huge guys kicking ***,

plus let's not forget he got busted for HGH just a few years back when he was already old and roids or no roids you still have to work your butt off in the gym, just taking the stuff doesn't add muscle

What the fudge is so bad about what he's saying? It's such a simple
statement about changing tides in the biz with no intent of malice
(Unlike "He's as dumb as he looks"). It's amazing what some will be insulted/aggravated by.

Honestly, I think it had way more to do with "Die Hard" than super hero movies.

I would blame movies like "A Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Shrek" before blaming Batman LOL
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"
