Yesterday, I discovered a Poutine with Philly Cheese-steak at Smoke's Poutinerie.

Depending on where you go, you have the option of American Cheese or Cheez Wiz, and maybe others. My favorite place uses a mozzarella blend.

How I WISH they had a philly cheese steak place in Mexico! Even in Laredo TX would be great.

Not to bum everyone out...but I actually prefer a steak sandwich with NO cheese...I don't like cheese on steak...on burgers yes...but not on steaks.

Ribeye, grilled onions and green peppers...dijon mustard...on a nice roll...

New York Strip Steak, and Cheez-Wiz, with finely chopped onions is the ONLY way to make a real Cheesesteak.

it has to be chopped any other way just isn't a "real" cheese steak always wit and cheese whiz or provolone depends on what i want that day but I favor the cheese whiz most of the time.did anyone here from philly know that tony lukes has marketed steak-ums type steaks in the frozen section of your super market-just thought that was worth noting.

Chopped steak all the way for me. There's this Cheese Steak place right down the street from me. They totally rock. I always get steak fries with them. Mmmm Hmmm. Oh and it's got to be Cheese Whiz.

I was stationed at the naval base in Philly. I had eaten cheesteak sarnis all over that city and they were damned good..... However, there is a resturaunt here called Barnicle Bill's and I have to say that they make the best steak Sarni I have ever had in my entire life!
I have not had one for a few years now because I try and watch what I eat these days but when I did, I used to get it with bacon which kicked it all up a notch!

    Ughh...... I want one now!
