IMO and experience, the theories are as true as you let them be. I've seen real live human beings dedicated their lives and psyche to the misc. causes out there. The really scary fact is that some of these folks go too far and really start to believe to the poing that they really loose touch with reality. One of these day's I'll have to share the story of "John". I've met the guy, talked to the guy, read his manifesto and still have no idea what the hell he's talking abouot but he is still roaming the streets believing that "they" are controling him. It's kinda scary really.

I have actually seen one very similar to the ones in the video fairly recently. I agree with Kingdom Warrior, they are used to line graves and designed to keep dirt from setting next to the coffin; effectively aiding in preservation of the body from insects. In addition, the liner keeps any body decay from seeping out of the coffin and into the surrounding soil.
People in videos like this one taking simple items out of context is how conspiracy's theories get started in the first place.

By the way, Marilyn Monroe works at the McDonalds down the street from me, but the years have not been kind to her.

Pretty much agreed with most of you re: the conspiracies (Russ is eerily close to my train of thought on Kennedy and Area 51).

JFK, MLK, and RFK: Yeah, I'd say there were lots of unanswered questions for all three. Those three were very threatening to the status quo in one form or another, and the fact that their assassinations came in somewhat quick succession is very telling. We'll likely never know the whole truth on any of 'em, though.

Area 51: I'm sure that the US gov't has found something extraterrestrial and covered it up, but like Russ said, Area 51 is the very public decoy, diverting attention from the real unmarked places the military has throughout the country (Most of those secret bases are mainly for prototype/new weapons testing - Area 51 was where the Lockheed Have Blue program was conducted - this was the development of the prototype of the F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter).

9/11: IMHO there was no conspiracy, apart the one from the 19 terrorists. No controlled explosions, etc. It happened like we all saw it. I'd read, however, that there were some red flags from some of the pilot training centers where the terrorists who piloted the planes attended in the US that were ignored by the various security agencies, but that's hindsight. Nobody really could have anticipated this happening, and it served as one hell of a wake-up call for everyone.

Yeah I for sure don't buy into the one gunman with Kenndey, and there's more to Bobbie's also. And even with the attempt on Regan's life, that shooter's family and friends have some interesting connection to other political families, and just the simple fact he didn't get locked up and have the key thrown away is another big red flag to me. Sure he didn't kill a president, but he darn near did.

Area 51 I have a feeling at one time there was some funky stuff going on there. Now I think the place is prob. just a base they use as a decoy, everyone is so busy watching area 51 ... that the military can be working on the really creepy stuff in a different base people don't know about.

9/11 I don't think our government had anything to do with it at all and I don't think they knew about it before hand either. If there were prior knowledge, it would have had to have been found out years before it happened with how those guys were running around the world. And at some point something would have broke free from someone inside the government, too many people would have known and one would have said something. Just a very evil well planned attack by bin ladin and his goons

I must admit that on 9-11 when the news came out I was a little suspicious...

It seemed that the pendulum of public opinion was swinging toward the Palestinian People, and away from the State of Israel. I couldn't believe that the Arab World could be so stupid as to start something with the Country that could make a difference in the Middle East. For a brief moment I wondered if some radicals had done this to discredit Islam. I remember Yasser Arafat looked sick upon receiving the news. Then I realized "No, this was just an indication at how politically fragmented the Islamic groups are."

Kennedy? Yes, I believe that there is more to the story than one crazy man named Oswald. Same with Bobby's death.

I'm pretty sure that there is proof of extra-terrestrials.
